So, we were bored, right after the much dreaded SPM examination... Instead of hanging out or working like any other regular graduates, Afiq has come up with a "brilliant" idea. It's darn simple, actually. Point A to Point B. On foot. Why? Don't ask why, we just did it without the participation of our brains. That's all. We thought it was initially just a walk in the park, our egoistic pride saying "Should be easy, what...". How wrong we were...
Without any sign of an incoming idiotic impulse, the rest of us (that means Voon Keong, Yoke Fei and Yew Sing) agreed to join Afiq in his so-called brilliant idea. What happened to common sense? Why would we agree? Alas, maybe deep down inside, we were struggling to release our inner jackass and this will be our debut adventure.

The idea was hatched on 15th of Dec. The initial plan was to be executed (Operation "Jalan Kaki") on the 16th but due to an illness afflicting Pang, it was pushed back to 17th, Wednesday. Our Point A, was Pandan Jaya LRT station. It was from here we were to walk to KLCC. Starting time:
First, a pictorial intro of our gang
(l-r): SYS, AAL, LVK, PYF The one in dark blue is actually Afiq. Shocked? We too. Why? It's obvious.

Our adventure starts here.
Afiq in search of KLCC
The Hindu temple
The Buddhist Temple
Soo macho face konon...
There still exists a "kampung" in KL.
Crossing border.
Pretty boys walking down the street...lame....
Our destination (view from Maluri).
The Mosque that Afiq attends once in a blue moon.
Heard that it is a wonderful school.
Afiq giving a demonstration to others on how to ride that thing.
Soo in search of hot chicks.
As we were walking, we stumbled across what seemed to be very familiar to us. It was a restaurant, bearing our classmate's surname.
In case you don't know who Kum Wen Wei is, take a good look below

As we walked ahead of us, we saw a Hindu and Buddhist temple next to each other along the road near the border of W.P. KL

Noticed a playground... Could not "tahan" long time since played there. So, our inner children took over us. I mean, we are still children. Only older and bigger.

Searching for KLCC.
Then, we came across this Hindu Temple. Very colourful and vivid architecture. Should taken more pictures of the Temple. But, damn the weather. Hot like hell.
Bulatan Kampung Pandan and further ahead is Times Square.
As we walk further we found out that there is this campaign going on. Something about traffic safety. But the thing that we had our eyes on is the 3 firetrucks that are parked at the side of the road. Being ex-Fire and Rescue Cadet members, Soo, Pang and Afiq decided to take a picture.
No wonder the hobos prefer to sleep under the flyover bridge. It is friggin' cool down there. Even though that time it is hot.
View of KLCC from the roundabout.
As we pass through Bulatan Kampung Pandan we entered Jalan Tun Razak. There are lots of familiar buildings that can be seen there. Even though we pass by there almost a million times, there is no way we will realise it.
Menara Tabung Haji.
We were exhausted after walking for over 1 and a half hours especially Soo. We decided to rest and fill our empty stomachs at McDonalds in Ampang Park. Apparently, a lot of people were staring at us, probably because of Afiq's flamboyant hair.
100 metres left!
Finally!! After walking for more than 2 hours! We had done it! We actually reached our destination without stopping halfway or taking a cab! We are so proud of ourselves. This proves that we can achieve anything if we put our body and soul into it.
Four Jackasses who made it.
After discussing and some rest, we decided to go watch a movie. "Space Chimps". We realised it was a mistake later... way too lame, even for us. We passed time by walking around and taking photos.
Pang is hungry. Again. For a small-sized fellow, he eats a lot. So, we went to the cheapest place we could find in KLCC. Food Court at the top floor.
Keeping it cool...
After the movie, Afiq's mum fetched us back home because we were tired from the walk. A bunch of pussies.
Happy to be on our way back!
P.S. : This possibly may be the one and only post in this blog. We will try our best to update this blog and make it more lively. (Yeah, rite...)
Even though it lasted for only a day, we had fun and a new sense of adventure. Unforgettable memories and moments was imprinted in our hard-headed brains. These were the last few times we can hang out together before each of us follow our separate paths after SPM.
